since so much has changed around here and there’s been so many new faces over the course of the last year, i think it’s time to re-introduce myself hi hi hi, my name is Ashley (which you probably already knew, but just had to throw that out there lol) i’m originally from virginia but after having a major existential crisis three years ago i uprooted & drove across the country to start a new chapter i’m the luckiest girl in the world thanks to my incredible partner (now fiancé) of seven years, Ryan, and our two precious dogs i’ve spent the last few years of my life trying to come back home to myself & connect with the person i used to be and there has been a lot of change (more than i would prefer), a lot of discovery, a lot of healing, & a lot of learning somewhere along the way these past three years my love for documenting every little thing & my desire to connect with people has snowballed into something i never could’ve imagined and something that i am so protective of i am deeply invested in this corner of the internet & being as genuine of a human as i possibly can which means that while you’ll see a lot of hiking, interior design, knitting, frolicking, reading, documenting our new cottage, & playing you’ll also learn about my struggles with chronic illness, childhood trauma, & more recently - discovering that i have autism i continue to be in so much awe that so many people have so chosen to stick around and i promise to always do my best to stay true to the things that drew you to me in the first place ashley 🤍
