I need to make a big thank you to @mtd_vision and Sean (@seano888) and Jon (@jon_frank_) at @surfingworld for including me in their #SW417 a couple months back. The article by @mtd_vision was about the period when Hawaii started to reopen its doors. I remember 2020/2021 having some pretty epic runs of NS swells, sometimes feeling like 4 weeks straight of the big stuff w/ awesome conditions, including the Jan 16 super swell, remember that? Anyway they were kind enough to print a couple of my favorite shots from this period of my bud @emi_erickson in her backyard and some shots of other photogs I look up to (@gonzolenz, @badboyryry_, @sean_davey, @pedrogomesphotography).
