“Superhighway” was the first song of Neal’s I ever heard. It was pitched as an idea for our first shows with Hard Working Americans. Although it was never played with HWA the song always stuck with me. Such a hypnotic groove and feel. It was truly an honor to get to record this song with 2 of my fellow disciples of Col. Bruce Hampton, Oteil & Nick, as the rhythm section for this tune. It really felt full circle being able to record this song with these beautiful people.
