Out of all the things I learned during this show the one thing that stands out the most is the importance of documentation of the work I’m making. We’re moving so fast in this era that nothing feels real to me, everything is fleeting! Naturally I don’t want to make things that feel like that. So I’m gonna try something new here. I’m going to try to document this show from my own and the photographer’s perspectives as thoroughly as I can here on IG by posting a series of daily posts detailing the work of the show we just wrapped, BIG WORDS, and breaking down the work in individual IG posts. At the same time I’m going to mirror those posts with other posts that focus on the events that happened in the space during the life of the exhibition. As I do this I’m going to be sending the people in these photos their pics from the events and along with thank you notes for them coming through. Small issue with this though, I don’t know everyone in the pics so if you see folks you know in the pics I post tag them in the comments so I can send them personal thank you notes. And after I finish doing this here on IG I’m going to prepare a presentation about the show and do it in real life.
