L’allestimento dello Schiaccianoci, il balletto di Čajkovskij in scena fino all’11 gennaio, nasce nel 1969 dalla collaborazione tra il costumista e scenografo Nicholas Georgiadis e Rudolf Nureyev. La scena è ispirata al primo Novecento e vuole accentuare il contrasto tra il realismo della festa e il sogno di Clara. Questo dualismo, rappresentato anche dalla contrapposizione tra dentro (il caldo salone di casa) e fuori (la strada sotto la neve), rispecchia i sentimenti dei personaggi, bloccati in uno spazio chiuso mentre altrove la vita continua a scorrere. In queste immagini il cast del 21 e 28 dicembre con la coppia protagonista formata da @claudiocoviello (Il signor Drosselmeyer/Il Principe) e @agnese_diclemente (Clara). • The staging of The Nutcracker, Tchaikovsky's ballet on stage until 11 January, is the result of the collaboration between costume and set designer Nicholas Georgiadis and Rudolf Nureyev. The scene is inspired by the early 20th century to accentuate the contrast between the realism of the family gathering and Clara's dream. This dualism, also represented by the contrast between the inside (a warm living room) and the outside (a street under the snow), reflects the feelings of the characters, locked in a closed space while elsewhere life goes on.
