“It’s for the wildlife. It’s for our future.” In 2021, the Lick Creek Fire tore through the grasslands outside Asotin, Washington. It devastated the land in its path and compromised a water guzzler relied upon by local elk, mule deer, bighorn sheep and other wildlife. It’s for moments like these that the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation exists — and why Danner is proud to support the foundation’s ongoing efforts to ensure the future of wildlife habitats.
 This past spring, dedicated volunteers from the RMEF assembled in Asotin to put in the hard work restoring what the fires had destroyed.
