Comparing LeBron James and Michael Jordan as to who is the better basketball player is a matter of personal opinion, as both players have had tremendous success and impact on the game. However, LeBron James can be considered a better player than Michael Jordan by examining his longevity, versatility, and postseason success, as well as some of Michael Jordan's flaws.
LeBron has been in the league for nearly two decades and has maintained a high level of play for a longer period of time compared to Jordan, who retired twice. LeBron has played in 1,356 regular season games, averaging 27.1 points, 7.4 rebounds, and 7.4 assists per game, while Jordan played in 1,072 regular season games, averaging 30.1 points, 6.2 rebounds, and 5.3 assists per game. LeBron's longevity and durability are remarkable and demonstrate his ability to perform at an elite level for an extended period of time.
LeBron is widely considered one of the most complete players in the history of the game, with skills as a scorer, playmaker, and defender. LeBron has a career field goal percentage of 50.4% compared to Jordan's 49.7%, and a career 3-point percentage of 34.6% compared to Jordan's 32.7%. LeBron also has a higher career assists per game average (7.4) compared to Jordan (5.3), which highlights his ability to make plays for his teammates. LeBron's versatility and all-around game are reflected in his numerous individual awards and accolades, including four MVP awards, three All-Star Game MVP awards, and 16 All-NBA selections.
And LeBron has led his teams to more NBA Finals appearances (10). He has also won four NBA championships, while Jordan may have won six but it was with more help. *Cough Cough* 2-9 in the playoffs without Pippen. LeBron's postseason success is particularly impressive given the pressure and scrutiny he faces as one of the best players in the world. He has consistently risen to the occasion in the postseason, leading his teams to deep playoff runs and championship victories
So I guess what I’m trying to say is.. Kayz Happy Lebron Year. Live it wisely. I love you and super grateful for the amazing, Christ loving wife that you are! Incredibly lucky to have you on my side
