Being a mother is the most extraordinary gift life has given me. It’s not always easy especially doing it on my own but every challenge is outweighed a thousand times over by the joy, strength, and deep love I’ve found in this role. And I feel incredibly lucky! Because I get to call the most kind, loving, and beautiful soul my daughter: Freja. Watching her grow into the light she is compassionate, curious, strong has been the honor of my life. Today, I’m celebrating all the mothers out there especially the single moms who show up with fierce love and unwavering grace, even when no one is watching. Happy Mother’s Day.
