This weekend is the 2022 @legionsportsfest and it’s fixing to be a very exciting show. For me there is a special level of excitement as the mighty @ifbbprojojontiforo is making his return! JoJo will be competing in both the Masters 40+ on Friday and on Sunday he will competing in the Open Bodybuilding show. JoJo turned Pro at the 2002 winning the Heavyweight Championship at the @npcnationals. This show will be his first since 2019 when he competed in both the New York and Chicago Pros. JoJo was one of the first major @ifbb_pro_league competitors to follow me on Instagram and we met in person when he was competing at the 2014 Mr. Olympia in Las Vegas. Since then I have been friends with he and his wife @tinypie. In the glory days of @this_is_bodybuilding JoJo (along with @gregory.ulysse.ifbbpro) would help me compile the majority of the Top 20 Lists, Olympia Predictions, TIBB HOF and Year End Awards. He’s been a major part of @this_is_bodybuilding which is something that always gave me great pride; to have an Olympian as a contributor to this page. Well this weekend he will be contributing to the Pro League and the sport/art of Professional Bodybuilding by stepping on stage to display his magnificent physique. One of the great posing artist of our time (the late great Peter McGough called JoJo’s 2014 Olympia posing routine the best routine of the entire show) JoJo is someone guys in Classic Physique, 212 and Open Bodybuilding should study. JoJo has always been the dark horse, hence the title of @teamdarkhorse, his coaching business (he has clients competing in the Legion as well, more on that later), and he just may be considered a dark horse to win the Open Show on Sunday (he’s my favorite to win the Masters), but that’s the thing about dark horses; they sometimes come out of nowhere and win the day.
