Increase Rotational Power and Shoulder Stability!!! SAVE AND SEND TO A FRIEND!
For overhead and rotational athletes (volleyball, tennis, baseball, softball, pickleball, basketball etc) this landmine variation is a great addition to any program. This exercise combines activation and stability from the shoulder, torso, and hip, all to which is needed to perform movements relative to the sport at a high level.
Keys to performing the moment:
🔑Your body should be squared off with the bar with the outside hand beneath and inside hand on top
🔑As you rotate be sure to “drive through the hip” as rapidly as possibly and use the outside hand to press through the bar as fast and as powerful as you can
🔑 At the top of the movement stick it and hold the position to ensure that the shoulder is stable, hips are rotated, and your body is in optimal positioning
