FACES OF 2022 BUMP (Pt 1!) Our muralists joined us from across Canada and all over the world, they are informed by their experience in the arts, their individual histories and identities, the cities and towns they were raised in and the places many of them have gone on to explore as artists. When we asked @asim.overstands to take these special portraits, we wanted to meet the artist somewhere along the timeline of their creative process, either right after the rush of completing a mural or in the thick of it. These portraits are an important moment in time from summer 2022 for us, where artists were asked to come and change the face of a city through their fantastic vision. We hope you all loved working in Calgary, making connections with each other and know the massive impact you will have through the powerful stories you tell through your murals.
