I would like to take a moment before going to sleep to quietly honor Raymond Briggs, the English illustrator who died last night at the age of 88. I kept starting to write a post today but I get so emotional it's hard to even think about. I love 'The Snowman' more than words can begin to touch on. It brings me to the most private and precious parts of childhood and of myself with such intense nostalgia. Everything about it. I love it forever and I’m so thankful to Mr. Briggs for creating such a magical book and film. His story that he gave to the world.
