🫶🏽 7/27 my birthday always hits this sweet spot of east coast sweat and late nights with my girlies :3 this summer 30 hit different — This last year and a half I’ve been through heart break and family grief. I’m feeling this upswing of positivity and an abundance of great friends to lift me and have meaningful conversations. These emotions I’m understanding move like waves.. not sure when it’ll go downhill or how long it’ll be up for, but I know I’m beginning to deeply honor what’s happening now. Recognizing my triggers and relearning how to process them. I’d like to move forward into this new decade with new challenges, new affirmations and intentions and to be gentle to myself when I make mistakes. To honor my tears and remind myself that this adventure has no short cuts. Thank you to my NYC friends who I call family, thank you to the creative community who hear my heart through my work, thank you to my huge family for reminding me where I came from.
