I am in total awe of my fiancé for being an investor and operator in taking this company, Heliogen Inc, public at a $2 Billion valuation SPAC merger!! 😱😳👏🏽👏🏽 I’m writing this post, not to brag but because they make us fear what they don’t want us to know and for the longest time, I feared money. I made a lot of it, but I also spent it as soon as I got it. Never investing and never truly understanding how to make my money work FOR me. I am so grateful to be learning the one thing I lacked up until this point, financial literacy, from him. It’s one thing to make money, but it’s a total different thing to understand money and how to keep and GROW your money to far beyond your lifetime, for future generations. I am so proud of him, not only because of the financial success but MOSTLY because he is doing this to set our children up for success when it comes to them understanding the keys to generational wealth. Annnnd this company is a renewable energy company that will help save the planet!!!!!!!!! And to think... he came from the south side of Chicago with a trajectory set for him to fail. He taught himself everything he knows and that’s just so much more admirable. As he always says, “Why should white guys have all the fun?” ...
