3 INGREDIENT OREO TRUFFLES 🎊 (gluten free, vegan, paleo friendly option*) Need a quick but impressive dessert for your NYE get together (or night in solo 🥳)? These classic Oreo truffles are made GF and only take 15 minutes to make, you only need 3 ingredients. Plus gold sprinkles! *In this video I used gluten free Oreos, but to make these more paleo friendly & with cleaner ingredients I use Simple Mills cocoa cashew crème sandwich cookies and Miyoko’s cream cheese, dipped in Hu kitchen chocolate* Makes 12 truffles: ▪️15 chocolate sandwich cookies (I use gluten free Oreos or Simple Mills cocoa cashew creme cookies for no refined sugar) ▪️4 oz dairy-free vegan cream cheese (I use Miyoko’s @miyokoscreamery) ▪️1/2 cup dark chocolate chips or/and white dairy free chocolate chips, melted (I use Hu Kitchen @hukitchen and Enjoy Life or Lily’s for the white) ▪️Optional 1 tsp coconut oil melted with the chocolate for a thinner chocolate shell Make: 1. Line a flat plate or baking sheet with parchment paper or wax paper. 2. Crush the sandwich cookies in food processor until they become fine crumbs 3. In a medium bowl, mix the crumbs with the vegan cream cheese until fully mixed into a dough 4. Scoop out 1 Tbsp of mixture and roll into a ball. Repeat with remaining Oreo mixture. 5. Option to freeze the Oreo balls for 10-15 minutes until chilled for easier dipping 5. Melt chocolate in a small shallow bowl with coconut oil (optional but preferred). Using a fork, dip and roll each oreo ball into the chocolate and shake off excess. Place onto the parchment or wax paper. Top with extra Oreo crumbs and gold sprinkles. 6. Place in fridge until chocolate sets, 5-10 minutes. 7. Store in fridge or freezer until ready to enjoy.
