The majestic valley of Sir (صير) in Palestine’s Jenin Governorate (جنين). Sir is a small village located in the Sanur valley in the northern West Bank., with a population just below 2,000. It lies minutes south of Jenin, the governorate capital. Sir consists of simple, charming homes interspersed with large, shady palm trees, all benefiting from spectacular views out across the valley. Cactus is a regular feature alongside the main road to the top of the village, while bright flowers adorn homes in spring and summer.
