66 years ago, on January 30th (in our calendar anyway) Elder Malidoma Somé emerged in human form, destined to travel far and wide from his village in Burkina Faso, to bless so many beings around the world, with his caring, devotion, and accumulated wisdom from the Dagara people. (and holding that in the deep context of the teaching he expounds in this clip...mm hm!) I’m thinking today of his family, village and extended community, and sending love as they heal-through and process his recent transition. Thank you Elder Somé for your radical generosity, clarity, and honesty. Gratitude to your parents and grandparents, and all the beings in your lineage and constellation of becoming.
