OUTFIT CHANGE! ð Our evening look for the wedding. I think this is one of my favourite photos ever of us (thank u @fabricebourgelle) The theme was "GOING BACK TO YOUR ROOTS" - I wore a traditional Pakistani gharara in banarsi silk brocade so that it still had the bling factor but without being heavy (because the day outfit weighed like 20kg ðĩâðŦ) and I got the silk dyed in a bright coral pink - this outfit came together in the most impromptu and quick way one day in Karachi when I was meeting @fezedi for coffee and we walked past a silk shop and I went in and just got the whole thing sorted there and then! So casual lol. And what about Nicholas' absolute show-stopper outfit?!! ð He designed his own tartan in Jamaican colours and then made a kilt with matching waistcoat and hat, in the true ND style. And the good thing about his outfit is that it doubled up as his carnival look the weekend after ðĪŠ he was the best dressed man in Notting Hill, undoubtedly ð Our friends and family took the party theme to heart and everyoneeeee was in the most amazing outfits! It was the best feeling to walk into that room and see all the guests in beautiful, bright outfits, and since our friends come from so many places, there were a lot of different looks. People in Japanese kimonos, Indian sarees, Palestinian thobes, Swedish reindeer leather trousers ðģ, handwoven fabrics from 1970s Sierra Leone, and one Liverpudlian even came with rollers in her hair ðĪĢ You can try and spot her in one of the pics...
