Earlier this summer, I was able to visit Senegal and Rwanda for the first time since before the pandemic began. And the women I met blew me away. A young entrepreneur who founded a tire recycling company. A scientist who learned to be “unapologetic” about her leadership. An activist who transformed personal tragedy into systemic change.
