@ikonpass is proud to announce the Ikon Pass Scholarship Program once again, in partnership with @shejumps and @nativesoutdoors. This winter, the community is coming together in the mountains to work to reduce barriers and increase access to the outdoors for BIPOC women and Indigenous people. Each scholarship recipient will receive an Ikon Pass, a ski or snowboard lesson, and gear to get on the mountain. This year, Winter Park Resort is also sponsoring the Ikon Pass scholarship in collaboration with Lakota Húŋkpapȟa professional skier Connor Ryan, who calls the resort his home mountain. Winter Park published a land acknowledgement in 2021 and is continuing their path toward inclusion in the snow sports industry by deliberately introducing more Native and Indigenous people in Colorado to skiing & snowboarding.
