How Velma became more flexible, present, AND connected to her authentic self ✨ When I started working with Velma, she was already in love with taking care of herself, and passionate about helping others to do the same through her own work in the helping professions. Because she was so in tune with herself, she was also able to notice that she was carrying a lot of tense emotions in her body, and that this was manifesting as her... 🔹 Having low energy 🔹 Feeling anxiety and overworking to try to manage it 🔹 Feeling disconnected from her body and struggling with being present as a result She sensed that developing a practice to release the tension that she was carrying in a way that felt good would help her to feel clear, open, and flexible within her body, which would spill over into other domains of life and help her to feel more present and connected to herself throughout her day, rather than feeling like she was just “performing” and going through the motions.
