The one nice thing about the dry start to 2019 was the fairly unusual alpine climbing we got to do around the Coast. Early on, while walking to see if Entropy had ice, I spotted some ice above the Wedgemount IPP so @gnarlyroot and I went to check it out. We found several hundred meters of WI 2/3 staring right off the road and finishing with a big curtain of WI4 which was a little full-on for my rusty swinging arms (first 3 pics). We also got to meet up with @porter.mcmichael for a lap of Colfax Peak down in Washington. Now Porter is a badass Himalayan guide so if you have crazy ambitious to climb Lhotse or something silly, give him a call! Really though, all that climbing just reminded us that skiing is way radder.
