Our ceremony, set in the gardens in front of the chateau. 💐⛲️🎻 10 years of dating all led up to this moment, and this might sound cliché, or maybe every couple feels this way, but this genuinely felt like something out of a movie. From our bright, overflowing florals, created by @missrose_by_perrine to feel like a wild extension of the gardens, to the string quartet playing classical music from the moment our guests arrived, to the flower canons that fired thousands of rose petals as we walked back up the aisle... and our surprise gospel choir that appeared in the windows of the chateau, singing Natasha Bedingfield’s “Unwritten” as our exit song. Beyond those moments, that we hoped would transpire as beautifully as they did, we’d both visualized repeatedly how we wanted to *feel* during it all. Present, connected, overjoyed, alive. So we made sure we walked slowly, read our vows intentionally, focused on smells, sounds, sensations, made eye contact with as many gazes as we could catch. It all made the biggest difference in FEELING our beautiful ceremony, in being there, in our bodies, in love, finally getting married.
