Leaving Chile on a high note 🇨🇱 Our two week tour of @acrossandes became a way for me to start unwinding after the busiest year I’ve ever had— 7 Ultras, 2 Komoot Women’s rallies, Tucson GRIT, a TED Talk and a month of scouting in Slovenia. My goal this year was community building— meeting new people, riding in new places and participating in new races. For me, riding is romantic. Early in the year, I wanted to push my limits and ride into every sunrise. Heading into the holidays, I just want to be spending time outside with Rue and sleeping through the night. Our tour in Chile was exactly what I needed. I don’t feel excited to race and for the first time, I’m listening to that ❤️ My only regret is disappointing the @acrossandes organizers. It was such a highlight to meet the bikepacking community and I love what they’re doing. Good luck to all of the racers! I’m ready to rest & rebuild. I’m so motivated for next year and there’s so much I want to work on— focusing on improving my breathing, speed and mountain bike skills. Taking time for yoga & strength. I’ve never felt this kind of focus & drive for the future and I’m going with it. So grateful I get to do what I love. I’m learning a lot and it feels good. Happy Thanksgiving!
