We’re playing “GAIA”, an epic piece for symphony and “jazz” ensemble, composed by the interstellar @wayneshorterofficial. We gon be beaming out total magic and splendor tonight!!! Back in 2012, Dr Shorter tapped me to set words to this symphonic composition of his, (co-commissioned by @laphil ).It’s so poetical to be back in LA, performing this piece with these BRILLIANT youngins from allll over the world!
