Letโ€™s play This or That ๐Ÿ˜„๐Ÿ‘‰๐Ÿพ๐Ÿ‘ˆ๐Ÿพ We all undergo a decrease in limb range of motion thatโ€™s pretty dramatic as we age, unless we do something to offset that decrease ๐Ÿ˜… Studies show we start to experience a 10% loss of flexibility every 10 years from age 20 to age 49, which we could say is a 1% decrease every year, but thatโ€™s not necessarily linear... For example, you can be fine mobility wise from age 20-30, and then at age 32 lose 5% of your flexibility in a year... (This of course depends on lifestyle factors like the type of work you do, how sedentary you are, and whether or not you regularly exercise) Dozens of studies show that dedicated stretching practice increases limb range of motion, and this offsets decrease in flexibility with age ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿพ Anyhew, thatโ€™s alll a fancy way of saying guys... ๐Ÿ—ฃ USE IT OR LOSE IT๐Ÿ—ฃ I know its not that easy to just start if you have no idea what to do, so if you need a few first steps to help you develop a dedicated stretching practice, DM me USE IT and Iโ€™ll send you a resource to help you start stretching this week!
