✨ "Dedicated to all radical bodies, past, present, and future." ✨⁣ ⁣ This is Felli Maynard's world and we're all just living in it! The 2019-2020 QAM Fellow is a first generation Afrolatine interdisciplinary artist & educator working across traditional analog and alternative photography processes to create artwork to further understand their ancestors in order to better understand their own layered identity. There is a focus on retelling stories that challenge misrepresented histories of people from the African Diaspora, queering the past, and critiquing the concept of time within a Western context. Felli is also back in full force at the Digital Book & Print Fair this year, selling a series of zines and chromogenic prints.
