#MyPolaroidPerspective 🟧 ORANGE by @thomasjackson415 Installation Photographer and visual concept artist creates a dream-like alternate reality in orange. "Orange is bold, it’s utilitarian, and it carries less baggage than red. And it looks great with pink, another favorite of mine. But above all I’m drawn to orange’s mutability, and the way its personality can shift, depending on the context it inhabits. The tulle here is a happy bright shade of orange, but in the soft light of a rainy day on the Oregon coast, animated by wind, it becomes something mysterious and hard to explain. It feels out of place, yet harmonious at the same time. That tension, between harmony and disharmony, is the essence of what I strive for in my installation work."
