Perelel “The Journey” Dir @rob_narg Focus @andrewlsgoh Color @alastorarnold AD Spencer Taylor The journey of starting a family is a beautiful rollercoaster story that I hold near and dear as a parent. @rob_narg approached me toward the end of 2021 to collaborate on this nice little passion project for @perelelhealth. The treatment was wonderfully crafted and we had been trying to work together on the right piece for a few years. 2021 was an especially tough year. Like many, I wasn’t quite bouncing back and there was a lot of imposter syndrome thanks to the hype machine here. I was losing focus on making images the way I once did, and there was too much static in the flow. Rob and Perelel trusted me with designing so much of the visual tone and language of this project and I really felt like I could be me on this. Thank you for your generosity @its_alextaylor @vat26. I couldn’t have done the work without the patient and highly skilled legend that is @andrewlsgoh and my favorite color wizard @alastorarnold. I owe you both again and again for the years of support. Finding happiness in this moving forward — Make things that you want to make this year. Try new things, hit the books, watch films, love your people. Even if it’s just work you have to take to get by, find a way to serve the story and your heart as an artist.
