I would be remiss if I didn’t speak about this loss and just how much it has shattered my heart. David’s films have provided an incomprehensible amount of value in my life that I can hardly find the words to articulate it properly. As a cinephile, his films resonated with me far greater than any other filmmaker. His dynamic of surrealism with raw heart and soul have never been captured so brilliantly. His art is what dreams feel like. Everything - and I do mean everything that makes up Pia Snow on my part is directly influenced by David’s films. That is abundantly clear to anyone who is also a fan of his. Mentally, his films helped me achieve a peace of mind, a healing, a hope and faith in the greater good. Spiritually, his films connected me closer to God and for that I am eternally grateful. Creatively, his films are responsible for everything I did on our album. My heart is broken, but I take solace that you are no longer on the edge. You have achieved glory above. #davidlynch
