August In Review 🌸 Reflections 🌸 Wow, what a month. We started off the month in QUEENS with @rising_earth an amazing nonprofit dedicated to youth-led climate empowerment. We foraged and found a deer skull in QUEENS, NYC! 🦌💀 Thank you to Yahoo’s @watchintheknow for featuring Glam Gardener NYC on #ExtremeMinimalists 💚 I spent the summer with kids enrolled in @nyc_doe Summer Rising Program with @nycid_improveslives at PSIS48! We had a good time in the garden, despite some of those sweltering days 🌱💦 What doesn’t kill ya makes ya stronger, ey? 🤣 Thank you to the amazing @_jacqueline.grace for making this possible. 😘 We did something NEW with the @lunarfaire family and took over Atlantic City for the night! A 17 hour work day totally worth it for such an amazing crowd of cosplayers and witchy babes. ✨ Shout out to the faire GODDESSESS for going above and beyond to keep this faire interesting, crazy, and so much fun every 2 weeks. 🌙 And thank you to my MIDTOWN MANHATTAN FRIENDS that I met at #SummerStreets by @nyc_doe 💚 We shut down the streets and planted over 750 plants. (You better be watering them) 😉 Thank you to my amazing friends at @beyogasi for hosting another foraging and yoga excursion with me. And big shout out to the peeps from Foraging Fridays at the beginning of the month where we rolled bayberry and mugwort smudged and drank wild-harvested-infused cocktails until the night mwahahahahah. 💚 You are all so special. 🌸 I’m so grateful for the people met and the new opportunities that present themselves on this journey of being an entrepreneur. Yes, I work my 🍑 off, but I’m grateful for everyday that I get to choose my own adventure, challenge myself and serve my community.
