🍂 Nomad Hudson Valley 3 Looks & Review 🍂 *Palette was gifted by brand (thank you! ♥️) Fall is here!! Unless you live in Arizona, it’s still over 100°F/38°C here. 🥴 But this palette sure is helping me pretend that the cooler weather is here 😂 Things I love: 🍂 Nomad has one of my all time favorite matte formulas, and this palette has 12 beautiful matte shades! The formula on these is so soft and buttery, they have a fantastic level pigment, and blend together well. 🍂 The color gradients make it super easy to pair the mattes together to make a look. 🍂 Based off of the founder’s hometown, and it feels really thought out and special. The included/downloadable travel guide is a cute touch! 🍂 The packaging! The embossing!! Need I say more?! It’s all so beautiful 🤩 🍂 The shade “Farmer’s Market”. I LOVE IT. Things I don’t love: 🍂 I struggled a bit with the shimmers in this one. The formula is great - each shadow is a nice, bright metallic that applies well and wears well without creasing. (I applied them over a primer). I just personally don’t care for metallic shades. As for the color choices, I would have loved to see grungier, more cool toned shimmers that better match the colors of the mattes since there are only 3. Very much a personal preference though! 🍂 Overall I think this is a great palette for someone wanting to try out Nomad’s formula. If you like these colors, I can add that the formulas are lovely and easy to use! Every palette I have from them feels very well designed and packaged, and it’s fun to “travel” with them to different destinations around the world.
