Just a few months ago this lovely lady has the blackest of box dyes on her hair after she got that quarantine itch 😅 Thanks to @elodiedreams she went through a long color correction. Her color was stubborn but she got most of the black out.
I also gave her 20” Bellami weft extensions for some more dimension and length. This is now her 3rd session (typically my favorite session in the hair journey) since then. We’ve brightened her up up a bit around the face but now we’ve reached the complication of only being able to go as bright as the extensions will allow us. Although they are 100% human hair, they’re dyed with textile dyes to last longer and look more rich and vibrant after going through the process of being black to whatever new color they are. This is great when you want your investment to last up to a year. The downfall is that it somewhat boxes you in to the color that will still match your weft.
I think we did a beautiful job of brightening it up around the face but keeping it cohesive and dimensional. What do you guys think? Is this her wedding hair or should we go lighter or darker.
Definitely something to keep in mind if you are on a color journey and also want extensions. I do free consultations if you ever have questions regarding color or extensions. Dm or text to book.
