In creating their sensual, unstudied interiors, the young Paris-based design team behind @festenarchitecture, Charlotte de Tonnac and Hugo Sauzay, aims not for beauty but for “unique places anchored in their geography, time and history.” For a recent French showhouse, these #1stDibs50 honorees combined rough and refined materials to create an insouciant artist’s workspace that features a woven-rush desk chair by Émile-Jacques Ruhlmann, a Charlotte Perriand stool and sconces by Guy Bareff.
