Oh man… the last 7 days have been wild. I spent most of last Saturday in the ER after I just felt really “off” and had some weird pain in my left arm (so of course your brain goes to extremes). After every test under the sun - EKG, X-ray, Ultrasound and bloodwork, everything was NORMAL - 😫🙄…. Told to rest and watch symptoms- fast forward to Monday feeling super nauseous, dizzy and bleh again … and then that night my whole body freaked out. It felt as though I was being lit on fire from the inside and I was swelling in my feet- seemed NOT normal so back to the ER… another EKG, Bloodwork and Ultrasound… still NORMAL 🤯… but with my body being on fire they determined I was most likely having a delayed allergic reaction to something… and then came the epinephrine- if you’ve never seen someone get shot with an EpiPen, it is not fun… The amount of adrenaline surging through your body makes your entire body shake uncontrollably for 15 to 30 minutes and then light shaking for about an hour as the adrenaline burns out of your system. It is an intense workout that then makes your body sore for the rest of the week (so fun)…on top of that I’m on medication‘s that are making my entire body swell. I’ve gained like 9 pounds of water weight and I’m so uncomfortable it’s unbelievable - however I’m so grateful for medicine so that I can get things under control and now to just figure out what the heck I’m allergic to - so looks like more tests will be in my future. 🥴🥴
