🌟🎥 This fall, #MikaRottenberg and Mahyad Tousi (@mahyad) will premiere their first feature-length film, ‘REMOTE.’ Set in a near future, ‘REMOTE’ explores what it means to be connected in this global age of pandemics, technology, and convenience. The film imagines the lives of Unoaku (#OkwuiOkpokwasili), an expat architect in Kuala Lumpur, and four other women living in different parts of the world. While watching a popular South Korean dog grooming show, the five women are connected when they discover mysterious portals hidden in their homes. Embarking on a quest for answers, they use the portals to overcome the distance between them, discovering a phenomenon with universe-altering consequences.
