This weekend I was truly HONORED to receive the visibility award from ever sooo marvelous @humanrightscampaign 🏅 I sat there surrounded by such incredible human beings who fight every single day for our right to live a free, safe, and happy life. People who sacrifice their time, money, and souls to improve this world from the ground up. To leave it better than they found it. To MAKE it better. For you. For me. For our children. All I could hear in my head was, “You don’t deserve this award, you should do more.” And you know what. I will. Every time I look at it, it’s going to remind me to turn pain into ACTION. Passion into PROGRESS. Thank you @humanrightscampaign for always reminding me that the fight for equality is never over, as a matter of fact, it’s just beginning. And it’s in our hands.
