Excerpts from free jazz documentary “Inside Out In The Open”. It has occurred to me how certain structures surrounding types of music, genres, scenes, government etc. and their politics only aim to cut people off from reaching the ability to think freely. When youre able to connect with your mind, world, and the people in it freely, love and true connectivity are easily attainable. No more is the focus on the acquirement of power, capital, popularity, tokenism, attention, but the idea that all involved seek to break out of the learned patterns that can corrupt ones sense of individuality and free expression.
