‘Cache-Cache,’ a new group show at Perrotin Paris, is now open. This exhibition marks Perrotin Paris’ first opportunity to present the work of Nathanaëlle Herbelin, Dora Jeridi, Nino Kapanadze, Elené Shatberashvili and Adrian Geller, Delving into their childhood memories, each artist imagines a kind of autobiographical fiction, a quasi-psychoanalytical journey through their work. The exhibition’s title, “Cache-Cache” refers to the childhood game of hide and seek. According to the artists, the game of hide and seek is a useful allegory for a child’s underdeveloped temporal and spatial perceptions. The game is a teaching mechanism which helps children understand that when an adult is out of sight, they do not disappear completely, and their reappearance produces a pleasurable surprise and a nervous cry of relief. Come and visit the show until February 25 at Perrotin Paris. Please note that the exhibition will be closed from January 17 to 28, as an exception to our usual programming. — @adriangeller @nathanaelleherbelin @dorajeridi @ninikapa @elene.shatberashvili #CacheCache #PerrotinParis #Perrotin __ Views of ‘Cache Cache’ exhibition at Perrotin Paris, 2023 Photo: Tanguy Beurdeley Courtesy of the artists and Perrotin
