Very grateful to announce our short film August 22, This Year, has been selected for the 59th edition of Cannes Semaine de la Critique ❤️Although bitter-sweet during these hard times, it feels somewhat fitting that our movie about the end of the world would premier in 2020. Thank you to all of our friends and family who made the film possible, especially to all of you who came and stood still during that very windy day at Ashbridge’s Bay. I always feel lucky to work on projects directed by my great love @fantaviousfritz —most of the film was made with the two of us pulling the camera around in a red wagon. This project was made even more easy-breezy by co-producer extraordinaire @dan_montgomery whom we love. Lastly, thank you to Bobby, who is no longer with us, for braving the winds and bringing your heart to everything you did. I’ll always be grateful to have your memory on film.
