Pt. 2 of Macros aren’t a Prison Sentence 3 ways to know you are READY to take a break from tracking macros! 1. 👀You can EYEBALL like a MFF’R. Your handful of chips is almost exactly 28g, you can spot 4-5oz of protein without fail, and your carb portions are right inline with where they would be if you were weighing and tracking. 2. 🍽Meal prep is just what you DO! It is no longer a matter if IF you are going to prep, rather when. Part of your lifestyle, without fail, is taking ownership of your nutritional habits and planning ahead. You either have a fridge full of preps or at least a game plan laid out of healthy, balanced meals for the week. 3. 🙌🏽You aren’t tempted with the BLT’s. Random bites, licks, and tastes aren’t really tempting any more. You are making conscious and intentional food choices throughout the day and mindless snacking is no longer part of your habits. ⭐️BONUS: You are super intentional when eating out. Either making the intentional choice for some “fun foods” or staying really intentional with your “Rule of 3” and portion size. You no longer have the urge to order everything on the menu and binge until you have a stomach ache. YOU are in CONTROL. 💡I would also like to add, another sign that you might need a break from tracking is if it has become a negative obsession for you. It is all you think about, your mood is dependent on your macro success/fails.
