Dear Ma, Yesterday marked 2 years since you’ve been gone, but it still feels like it happened yesterday. I have so much to tell you. I’m in a much better place in my life. I go to therapy every Saturday. Micha has never met you but knows so much about you. I smile and laugh a lot more. I now go by Dom Alexander. It’s giving elevation! 😂 I got my hair cut short just how you like. I did try something new. I got this mushroom / bowl cut going on. Lol I know I can hear you say “I ain’t gotta wear it.” lmao I promise you it’s actually really cute. Matches my bougie Auntie lifestyle. I turned 28 this year. She’s getting up there in age! I had the best Birthday this year! @dvn1b surprised me with a trip to Puerto Rico. WAIT FOR IT! She brought the whole family along. Had me feeling like I won a game show. All expenses paid for. Yup, I’m for sure well taken care of. 😌 I’ve been living. I’ve been out here doing all the things we talked about . Just this week I got to style my very 1st campaign as lead stylist. THAT’S RIGHTTT MY GIRLLLL! It’s only April and I’ve completed my biggest goal for this year. My heart is full. I feel blessed and loved. I see you in myself all time. Like when I say things like “if it ain’t one thing, it’s another.” When I want to drink ginger ale. Haha and you know I don’t ever drink soda. I have a heart just as big as yours was. I’m just as silly. I even got a little country accent that comes out from time to time. But that could just be because I’m around Dani country tail. Just wanted to let you know that after all things are turning out just fine. Some days are harder than others. But I try not to let that define me.
