The dust has settled after Islington and just wanted to say a big BIG thank you to everyone who came down for some or all of the 10 Hours. We started planning this party in 2019 and so it had been a long journey to get there. There was so many “what if’s” floating around in the run up, we had planned for every detail but it was the first time a party like this had been thrown at the venue and I wanted to make sure that attendees and staff were respected alike. Every time I looked up it was pure smiles and it felt like a really warm and welcoming crowd. Seeing everyone walking in eating fruit and sweets and exploring the venue was so lovely to watch. I don’t think I have ever felt that free in how I played, there were parts where I was playing faster with more active “mixing” but also lots of times when it just felt amazing to let whole records play out on that wonderful system. Everyone involved went above and beyond to make it so special and the amount of behind the scenes planning was huge. With that in mind I would like to thank; Simon, Fred and Kitty from @percolate_music for producing the show and hearing me out on all my (many) suggestions. My manager @chrisgoldtv for being my second set of ears and helping in every aspect. @mikeyfunkyiggy and @sound_services for the crazy 4 point @funktiononeofficial sound install. Dom and Ben from @parametrica_studio for the light and decor and bringing to life my brief of a living room crossed with The Saint nightclub.
