Immense joy playing at the Angel City Jazz Festival last week! Thank you to everyone who came to the 'Wise One: Celebrating the Music of John Coltrane" concert and journeyed with us. Special thank you to @stixlabarbe, @billychildspiano, and @darekoles1 for an unforgettable night - what a privilege it was to share this music with you. I'll leave you with a thought. When asked in an interview in 1966 "what's the very first thing that you want to express to people? (with your art)", Coltrane's response was "I would say love, first, and to strive, second. Although they go together in some kind of way".
