"FEELING THE FLOW" I had the opportunity to shoot @williamkentridgestudio for @elephantmagazine issue 48 print in Johannesburg this year. Always a dream to shoot a hero and an icon whose roots are so deeply embedded in South African history and culture. "Kentridge tries to hold on to uncertainty as far into a project as possible, which can create a continuous state of anxiety. “What are the anxieties that are keeping me up at four in the morning?” he asks, only half-joking; “I need a text for my next piece of theatre. And I’m hunting for that. Is it a piece of poetry? Is it a myth? Is it a short story? I haven’t yet found it.” I ask how he will know when he has found it.
