I've been BLOWN AWAY at the response to my documentary @38atthegarden so far. The flood of texts, messages, comments, and chatter around it has honestly been much bigger than I expected. Truthfully when @patriciaylin and I first chatted w @frankchi @travon and @samir4gtg we all immediately agreed for sure this doc was NOT gonna be about celebrating me. It's about 3 things: social justice, cross-racial solidarity and ultimately, about creating a better future for the next generation. I know....all those terms sound hella cliche.
