7 years is a long time. Lots of memories and absolutely amazing experiences. The Red Truck Racing program is such a unique program and after being part of this family for so long I have so much to say. Everyone that is part of this wonderful team is also a amazing person off the bike as well as on the bike. It takes more then just racing hard to be a Red Trucker, its a family and a support group of wonderful people that love bikes. I started and finished my Undergraduate Bachelor's degree in Education while I was racing on the team. Now I am transitioning into the Teacher Education program to be an elementary school teacher. I can't thank the support of Red Truck enough for all these years. My position as a future educator allowed me to experience this team in a way that promotes growth as a person and as an athlete. Cycling is a wonderful sport, but Red Trucks emphasis on education as well is very unique, and goes hand and hand with youth performance in the sport. Integrating sport with education is something that has become part of my values as a teacher. Here's to all the good times with this amazing program, next year I will be doing something a little different, but still will be out there crushing it!
