ABSTRACT In photography, contrast is impacted by the balance between that which one chooses to reveal versus conceal. I shot the series in the early 80’s on a B&W slide film that Polaroid made which could be processed instantly using a small, handheld processing machine. This of course was way before digital and I was so happy not having to send film to a lab. Plus the grain structure and feel of this particular film was very cool. It was the only B&W slide film made at the time.
