A season of mothering I will never forget. I know there will be many seasons filled with purpose but this season is the one I’ve always thought of when I thought of what it’s like to be a mom; fully encompassed by little people, carrying one on one hip and holding another’s hand keeping all of them close. One day I know they will be grown and we will watch them go but my mind can’t let my heart accept that that day is coming. I’m truly so grateful to be in the here and now with these little people raising them, guiding them, loving who they are. Praying our days are longer because we know these years are short. Also praying naps could also be longer and maybe tomorrow can be shorter as well because 6 am is coming soon and I know these words will be harder to feel that early. 🥵 A word to all my fellow moms. Good job for all the tireless, unseen work you are doing that will likely never get recognized by these people you are raising. Know that the work is not only for them but also for you. I hope you can love yourself deeper for who you are becoming as you are also raising yourself up to raise this next generation! I hope YOU can be the one to see all the work you are doing and recognize it because this is the good work, the kind that lasts for generations! You are doing a good job!! ❤️❤️❤️
