🚨 Long post alert 🚨 We collaboratively designed and built 2 massive perceptual parallax sculptures with @scoundrel_films_projects and @jamesdive_ . A huge undertaking hanging literally thousands of antiques from the 18 and early 1900s. From real shrapnel from Gallipoli, Australian soldiers actual medals and uniforms to antique silverware, cricket bats and porcelain - everything was genuine. Hung from line attached to a custom engineered truss hanging in the old train yards in sydney we built the structure by first designing a system where we would break up the original photograph into hundreds of pieces, separate them into 8 layers and closely match antiques with the colours of the pieces 😅 A process that normally takes months we all pulled off in a matter of weeks.
